Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Buselor platform. By registering for a Buselor Account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Introduction

Welcome to Buselor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Buselor platform, APIs, websites, and associated services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Buselor Commerce ("Buselor", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Services, you enter into a binding legal agreement with us.

The Buselor Platform

Buselor is a modern commerce infrastructure provider designed to facilitate secure transactions, manage settlements, and provide robust APIs for digital businesses. We act as a technology provider and payment facilitator, but we are not a bank. The funds held in your Buselor wallets are managed through our network of licensed banking partners.

Key Definitions

Buselor Account The primary digital profile created by a user to access the Services.
Settlement ID A unique identifier assigned to a specific batch of finalized transactions ready for payout.
Transaction Rails The underlying network protocols used to route and process payments on the Buselor platform.
verified_user Rail One (Buselor Protected) Our standard processing tier featuring comprehensive fraud analysis and escrow-like holding periods before settlement.
bolt Rail Two (Buselor Express) An expedited processing tier designed for trusted merchants requiring near-instant settlement.
Main Wallet The primary ledger reflecting settled, available funds that can be withdrawn.
Commitment Wallet A restricted ledger holding funds reserved for ongoing transactions, disputes, or regulatory holds.
Pending Payout Wallet A ledger reflecting funds that have cleared processing but are awaiting transfer to external bank accounts.

Account Registration

  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and employing strong security practices, including two-factor authentication.
  • Notify Us: You must immediately notify Buselor of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
  • Responsible Use: You remain solely responsible for all activities that occur under your Buselor Account.

The Buselor Commerce API

Acceptance & Keys

Access to the Buselor Commerce API requires valid API keys. You must treat these keys as highly confidential. Any API call made using your keys will be attributed to you.

Security & Compliance

You agree to adhere to all API documentation and security guidelines provided by Buselor. You must not attempt to circumvent any rate limits or security protocols.

Data Processing

When you submit data to the API, you represent that you have all necessary rights and consents to process that data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Buselor will process API data solely to provide the Services, maintain system integrity, and comply with legal obligations. We employ industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE BUSELOR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL BUSELOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.
